First of all these boots are honestly okay…but very stiff, pretty thin leather. I ordered a size 11 which I thought would be around 11 and a quarter inches like most us sizes are. As they arrived they were more like a 12 and measured exactly 12 in from heel to toe. I’m not going to get into our conversation but it was very frustrating due to sometimes he didn’t understand what I was communicating for a replacement size. I asked if he could custom make the second pair in 11 and 1/4 in and he seem to not know what I was talking about repeatedly which was very disconcerting. He refunded my money. I gave the boots to a friend hope he likes them.

This seller sent me the wrong color boots and to rectify the mistake they wanted me to buy a second pair in the correct color and keep both pairs at $137 per pair. I did not need two pairs of pirate boots. I don’t think that I should have to pay for return shipping since it was their mistake, and they should have sent me the correct color as soon as I contacted them 5 days ago. nnUpdate:nThe seller will send me the correct color boots at no charge since it was their mistake. The pair that I originally received are a gift to me because of the mistake. The reason I have only rated 4 stars is because of the original mistake of getting the wrong color.

The original boots I ordered were too small around my calves so I messaged the maker to get a refund, but he was kind enough to have them remade for me. I sent in measurements he asked me for and he arranged to have them remade, saying it would take up to 10 days. On day 11, I messaged him asking if there were any updates and he said he remade them custom to my measurements, but accidentally used black leather instead of brown, like I had ordered. He said he could remake them again, but it would take up to 10 days, or he could just ship the black. I wasn’t too picky, so I accepted the black boots. When the new boots arrived, I was incredibly disappointed. The new boots no longer fit my foot, where the old boots did. It doesn’t seem like they were made using my measurements at all. 3 stars because Rama was very nice.
