Thracian Gladiator Helmet – 18 Gauge Steel

This full face gladiator helmet is most associated with the Thracian gladiator type. Thracians were considered ”heavy” gladiators and would be armed with a large Roman scutum shield and a curved sica sword. This helm is made of 16 gauge steel with brass accents and features a gorgon head on the brow and opening face guard. The face guard plates are secured with a clasping latch – they can also be removed entirely by removing their brass anchoring pins if desired.
