Roman Caesar Helm – 18 Gauge Bronze
Though this helm looks quite like a modern helmet, it is actually a reproduction of an original Roman find dating to about 50 B.C. – the time of Caesar. The helm is crafted from 18 gauge brass; the interior of the helm is blackened and unlined and it is finished with side rings of steel with brass medallions that are affixed to the helm with bands of riveted leather. These rings allow for the helm to be fitted with a chin strap (chin strap not included).
