This short gambeson jacket is a great eye-catcher for many fantasy costume ideas. They can be worn over a plate cuirass or over a chain mail shirt with a wide belt.
It is only lightly Cotton, so you can easily combine it as a short jacket with a shirt, blouse or bodice.
The diamond quilting gives this chic top a great structure.
If you want to lend a hand yourself, you can attach decorative rivets in the middle of each diamond. This gives the part a very individual touch and the right look for a martial fantasy costume.

This is a nice belt pretty but different from what is pictured the hanging tassels don’t match the seller’s image for example the moon bottom connectors are very different in the image from what I received. The belt is oriented upside down from the image as well, if I moved the tassels to match what the picture has my brass images would be upside down. the belt loop brass connecter doesn’t bend at the joint like the other belt loop.

I can say I‘m extremely happy with this item. I needed some padding because, even though we’re larping with foam weapons, some hits come in hard enough to leave bruises and when you go down, you need to brace yourself. I considered wearing a gambeson, but found those inflexible and stifling. The padded sleeves are really a godsend. I have really wide shoulders and long arms but they custom tailored them to fit perfectly with enough of the fastening strap to spare. It is well constructed, not restricting in the least when I move around. The color fits my kit also really well. Can only recommend. Customer service and shipping was excellent, too. Thank you very much!

The quality on this product is beyond superb. I train in 200 pounds worth of equipment every other day, (100 pound weighted-vest beneath my armour) and it holds up well against the stress and abuse of my training. I knew it was going to be good the moment I felt it, and I saw the quality of the clasps and leather. It’s also quite fashionable. I am tempted to order another to wear it out in public. I’ve received countless complements wearing it. Whomever made it is extremely talented. It is well worth the money, it is better quality than many of the U.S vendors I’ve purchased from previously. I cannot emphasis enough, how nice the buckle is, and how well it fits, and how comfortable it is. I was also asked my chest-measurement prior to purchasing. It also comes with lower-arm attachments for the lower arm-pieces, which is a plus.

Very sturdy and well made. I have obnoxiously broad shoulders and long arms, so I had to augment them a bit to fit my admittedly brutal sword practicing methods, but the structure and material made this easy to accomplish. The material has to be broken in a bit, but it just adds to it being more tailored to your individual movements and body shape. Excellent product for the cost, excellent service and shipping, all in all a very wise purchase. Highly recommended.
