Overall I’m happy with this purchase, but there are some important things to note.nnFirst off they were very accommodating with my requests and did not charge extra. However, the inner dimension of the washers are 7mm, the riveted rings are the advertised 6mm. Overall this isn’t a deal breaker, but its disappointing being mislead.nnThis is a great value regardless, and although not having any experience with other chainmail I would recommend this dealer to my friends.

Got the 6mm rings which gave great mobility to the weight. The sizing of the chest and waist is spot on with the sizing advertised which is great as I’m a large man nearly 7 foot. The sleeves are much larger at the wrist and will have “dressing” since it’s not tailored bit it’s not more or less then any non trailered maile. The customer service is excellent and they made some minor modifications for me and it came out as I needed it to be since I’m very tall. Expect that some rivets will fall out I had a couple dozen work out on the first time wearing it and 3 rings did come broken but they provide a bag with many spares to repair or replace broken rings with which is great for a hauberk of this size. The rings are well oiled to prevent rusting which is excellent. This is great maile and a maker I’d buy from again.

Really good product. Great communication with the seller. If you are looking for an historical look, you will need to tailor the really baggy sleeves but it’s expected with this type of product. Really good price for a 6mm riveted chainmail. Some rings came broken and some rivets fell off when I first put it on but it came with a set of spare rings and spare rivets so you can repair it. nGood product overall, I recommend it.

Taking into account that this is not only riveted but also as small as 6mm maille, the price is immaculate. The fact that it is free shipping to the United States is incredible, it came all the way from India and I did not pay a dime extra. I ordered the standard medium size and the torso portion is surprisingly well fitted, not too much extra material and it closes in slightly around my waist. The arms are very large and baggy, but that is to be expected. Customer service is immediate and unprompted, you will be contacted to make sure your order is correct and discuss it further. Overall, being 6mm riveted maille the price is extremely low. You are provided with many spare rings and rivets, so far only one of my rings was faulty and fell out, no other problems.nnI can easily reccomend this product.

Bought this for Reenactment fighting. The service was excellent, they took my measurements and provided a chainmail that fit very close around my chest, with the amount of padding i had described. The sleeves are very wide and therefore there is a lot of loose weight dangling from your arm, however this is not a difficult thing to modify/tighten up. Some of the rings fell off when I lifted the mail out of the package, and more rivets shook loose. However, nothing more than was expected, and the supplier was nice enough to include a bag of spare rings/rivets to make repairs with. The package arrived rather quickly. Great value for the price, two thumbs up.

Excellent service from Rama. We’d had an issue with Fedex getting the chainmail shirt delivered. Rama worked with me during the entire process and does great credit to himself and his business. The shirt itself arrived as described. Some of the rivets did get sheered off in shipping but this won’t compromise the overall integrity of the shirt. It comes oiled so no need to worry about rust. With good care I expect this shirt to last a very long time.

This is great. Just what I’ve been looking for for my 13th Century kit. nnAdditionally, this is Great value for the money. I’ve seen much worse on other sites go for more money. And the free shipping? That’s outrageous!nnHad a few loose rivets, but that’s the nature of the beast. It is a very solid and sturdy bit of kit otherwise.
